Plain answers to the questions we get most often about the pieces themselves.
Fired at 2,190 F, food-safe glaze, dishwasher and microwave safe. Avoid thermal shock — do not move a piece straight from freezer to oven.
OEKO-TEX certified, stonewashed for softness. Machine wash warm, tumble low, skip the fabric softener; it softens naturally over about ten washes.
FSC-certified mills in Vermont and Maine. Hand wash, dry upright, re-oil with food-safe mineral oil every couple of months.
Made from post-consumer cullet, so small bubbles and slight tone shifts are normal and not a defect. Dishwasher safe on a low-heat cycle.
Natural fibres, hand-woven. Keep dry, vacuum with a brush head, and reshape by hand if a basket is stored under weight.
Unglazed and porous by design. Expect a natural patina; bring planters indoors before the first New England hard frost.
